Tyrell Davis has been named the principal of Cliffdale Elementary School. He earned his master's degree in school administration from Fayetteville State University in 2019. The former U.S. Army telecommunications operator and county correctional officer started his career in education as a Criminal Justice teacher at E.E. Smith High School in 2004. Since then, he has worked in numerous capacities in CCS to include an in-school suspension teacher and assistant football coach at Seventy-First and E.E. Smith High Schools. Davis has served as an assistant principal in the district since 2018, most recently at Cliffdale Elementary School. He has been appointed the newest principal of Cliffdale Elementary School.
