2022-2023 High School Course Selection Guide Cumberland County Schools’ Secondary Education includes grades six through twelve. The department is committed to providing quality instructional programs to our students so they can be successful in their academic pursuits. Our rigorous instructional programs at the middle school and high school levels are aligned to local, state, and national standards and offer preparation for a career or post-secondary options upon graduation from high school. We are always seeking to improve our instructional programs by offering professional development in instructional strategies, continuous updates of educational trends, and resources that support teaching and learning. CCS TELECONFERENCINGCCS teleconferencing courses were established in an effort to offer students the opportunity to take Advanced Placement courses and unique electives that may not be offered within the schools they attend. Teleconferencing provides students with the opportunity to take coursework in a technology-rich environment while developing critical 21st-century skills.
