    "A Summer Learning Program for Students in Grades K-12"


    Cumberland County Schools is excited about launching CCS RISE 2021, the district’s summer learning program. 

    Component 1: Academic Intervention

    Students who are invited to the in-person, invitation-only Academic Intervention portion of CCS RISE 2021 have already received additional information in their CCS email account. There is currently a waiting list on the district website for families who may be interested in having their child take part in the Academic Intervention component of CCS RISE 2021. 

    Component 2: Acceleration for All 

    The second component of CCS RISE 2021, Acceleration for All, is open to all students and is supported by a calendar of LIVE learning opportunities and does not include an in-person component – all of the learning activities will occur online.   • CCS RISE 2021! Academic Intervention K-12 Student Waitlist

    There are some open seats in the SECOND session, July 12-29, "invitation only" portion of CCS RISE 2021! Click here to access the intent application, which will allow you to place your child's name on the waitlist to participate in the second session of CCS RISE 2021! Academic Intervention. Students will receive an invitation based on program space availability. 

  • CCS RISE 2021! Acceleration for All Registration Link

    All CCS students are invited to participate in the K-12 Virtual Learning portion of CCS RISE 2021, which will take place July 12-29, 2021. This full virtual option is supported by a calendar of LIVE instruction learning opportunities and does not include an in-person component. Register for Acceleration for All here

    During this episode, K-5 ELA Curriculum Specialist & RISE Program Manager Jennifer Lloyd, along with Dr. Mellotta Hill, assistant superintendent for Elementary Instruction, and Dr. Jane Fields, assistant superintendent for Secondary Instruction, discuss CCS RISE 2021 and share important updates regarding the RISE hotline, the upcoming virtual Open House opportunities, and more!
