T.C. Berrien, Lucile Souders, Ferguson-Easley, Glendale Acres, Ashley, Walker-Spivey, Alma Easom, Vanstory Hills, Luther "Nick" Jeralds and R. Max Abbott

Currently, 178 students in grades K-5 attend T.C. Berrien Elementary School, which is temporarily housed on the campus of W.T. Brown ES. The following plans are being considered: 

• Plan A - Divide T.C. Berrien Elementary School between Lucile Souders Elementary School and Ferguson-Easley Elementary School;

• Plan B - Divide T.C. Berrien Elementary School between three schools (Ferguson-Easley, Glendale Acres and Ashley Elementary Schools) and connect the student assignment area by transferring a total of 15 students from Walker-Spivey Elementary School to Glendale Acres and Ashley Elementary Schools;

• Plan C - Divide T.C. Berrien Elementary School between three schools (Ferguson-Easley, Alma Easom and Vanstory Hills Elementary Schools) and connect the student assignment area by transferring a total of 3 students from Walker-Spivey Elementary School to Easom and Vanstory Hills Elementary Schools and transferring a total of 65 students from Easom and Vanstory Hills Elementary Schools to Glendale Acres and Ashley Elementary Schools; or

• Plan D - Reassign T.C. Berrien Elementary School to W.T. Brown Elementary School.

Middle School Realignment for Feeder School Impact of T.C. Berrien Elementary School Plans B & C

It was proposed that the southeastern part of Luther "Nick" Jeralds Middle School be reassigned to R. Max Abbott Middle School. This would mean that seven students would be reassigned (if Plan B or C is selected).
