What is Civic Oration?

In 1984, Modern Woodmen of America developed the Civic Oration contest to offer students an opportunity to develop skills in clear thinking and public speaking.

Requirements:

You must be in 6th - 8th grade.  You will research, prepare, and deliver a three to five minute speech.

In April or May there is a competition.

There are no membership dues.
