Facilities Planning and Construction Departments:
Construction Management oversees new construction from inception to warranty, seeks funding opportunities, and administers the minority business guidelines. School Planning develops district population forecasts, maintains student locator systems, and prepares demographic data as needed. Facility Planning reviews construction documents for compliance to facility guidelines and standards, maintains and updates plans and specifications in electronic format and assists with facility needs assessment. Deferred Maintenance oversees capital improvement programs to meet facility needs, develops standards, manages the design process, reviews designs and manages renovation/replacement construction. The HVAC Special Projects Supervisor plans, contracts and oversees major installations and renovations.
