  • Gray’s Creek Elementary School takes pride in being recognized as the first internationally themed elementary school in Cumberland County Schools. Along with the North Carolina Standard Course of Study, our international focus will offer students, staff, parents, and our community; knowledge of other world regions and cultures, awareness of international and global issues, skills to work effectively in cross-cultural environments, ability to communicate in multiple languages and mutual respect for other cultures and people.

  • CCS Delays Return to In-Person Learning Until March 15

    Today, during the Cumberland County Board of Education’s monthly meeting, Superintendent Dr. Marvin Connelly, Jr., announced an updated plan for students on the traditional and early college calendars to begin the transition to Plan B (a combination of in-person and virtual learning) on March 15, 2021, contingent upon the metrics and other factors that district officials continue to monitor.

  • CCS TUTORING OPPORTUNITIES AND SUPPORT FOR K-12 STUDENTS

    Students from grades K-12 will have 24-7 access to live tutoring services to provide support with daily classroom instruction. The all-in-one suite of tutoring services is designed for a wide range of academic needs, whether it is tackling a tough homework problem, mastering a particular topic, or writing a paper. Students can access live, on-demand academic help, and state-aligned skills building lessons from expert tutors.

  • Prime Time

    Prime Time registration for essential personnel, including first responders and teachers will take place on Monday, December 14 at select locations. Registration will open to the general public on Wednesday, December 16 and space is very limited. For more information, visit primetime.ccs.k12.nc.us
