    South View High School offers amazing opportunities for all students, to include two academies: the International Baccalaureate Academy (IB) and the Academy of Public Safety. 

    The athletic program at South View is unmatched not only in the county, region and state, but also on a national level. The South View Athletic Department is much more than thirty-seven different teams playing sports.

    South View also has one of the largest and strongest Cultural Arts Departments in Cumberland County. Our Tiger Marching Band has a large membership and receives numerous awards and invitations to perform across the country. South View also has an outstanding Dance, Chorus, Orchestra, Art and Theater Arts program.

  • Yearbook For 2020-2021

    The 2021 SVHS yearbook is on sale now. Our Yearbook will include an expanded section of Senior Portraits, Senior Superlatives, Senior Highlights, and Outstanding Seniors - as well as coverage of virtual classes, all sports, and more.

  • CCS Delays Return to In-Person Learning

    In the Cumberland County Board of Education’s monthly meeting, Superintendent Dr. Marvin Connelly, Jr., announced an updated plan for students on the traditional and early college calendars to begin the transition to Plan B (a combination of in-person and virtual learning) on March 15, 2021, contingent upon the metrics and other factors that district officials continue to monitor.

  • ACT Bootcamp

    Thursday, January 21, 2021, is the ACT Bootcamp. The Bootcamp will be for all 11th grade students.
