    The South View High School community is a thriving community where our students are inspired by dedicated teachers and mentors to reach their highest potential each and every day. Our rigorous academic, arts and athletic programs are coupled with a strong support system, where students are well known, challenged and cared for by our faculty throughout their day.

    South View High School offers amazing opportunities for all students, including two academies: the International Baccalaureate Academy (IB) and the Academy of Public Safety. Our Career and Technical Department offers the Adobe Academy Program and courses that lead to sixteen different career pathways.

    The athletic program at South View is unmatched not only in the county, region and state but also on a national level. The South View Athletic Department is so much more than the thirty-seven different teams playing sports.

    South View also has one of the largest and strongest Cultural Arts Departments in Cumberland County. Our Tiger Marching Band has a large membership and receives numerous awards and invitations to perform across the country.  South View also has an outstanding Dance, Chorus, Orchestra, Art and Theater Arts program.

  • Virtual Choice Fair

    Fayetteville, N.C. – Whether a child is a budding artist or interested in a career in the engineering field, Cumberland County Schools (CCS) provides numerous options to help align each child's education to their unique interests and learning style. Cumberland County families will have an opportunity to exercise their power of choice and learn more about the educational options available in CCS on Saturday, December 4, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at the CCS Virtual Choice Fair.

    The ASVAB will be administered on December 10, 2021 in the SVHS Auditorium. You must be a Senior or a Junior to register. Please report to the Band Parking Lot at 8:00 am. "Note", respond to this google form by December 9, 2021, if you would like to take the ASVAB.

  • Important Parent Information

    As a reminder, Wednesday, November 24, 2021, Thursday, November 25, 2021 and Friday, November 26, 2021, are holidays for students. We hope everyone has a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving! We will see you back on Monday, November 29, 2021. Also, students and parents are not allowed to bring in outside food or drink into SVHS.
