GENERAL INFORMATIONCumberland County Schools’ (CCS) Choice Program application window is scheduled to reopen for select programs and grade levels beginning Tuesday, May 31, 2022. The district is reopening the application window to consider additional applicants for programs with available space.Parents and families can consider the following schools and programs during the upcoming application window:School Name (Grade Level Accepted):
The upcoming application window will remain open until August 1, 2022, to allow time for processing and notification prior to the start of the 2022-2023 school year.
- Cumberland Academy (K-5) Virtual School
- Cumberland Academy (6-12) Virtual School
- Massey Hill Classical High School (9-12)
- Montclair Elementary School (Kindergarten Only) - 50/50 Immersion Program (Spanish)
- William H. Owen Elementary School (Kindergarten Only) - Language Immersion (Spanish)
- Reid Ross Classical School (6-12) - Year-Round School
- Seventy-First Classical Middle School (6-8)

Choice Programs are uniquely themed concepts implemented at select schools throughout the district. You can exercise your power of choice within CCS by learning more about the Choice Programs available to students and selecting a program that best matches your child's interests and future goals.

Once a parent/legal custodian makes the commitment to enroll a student in a Choice Program, the parent/legal custodian will not be able to transfer the student to another school during the school year. Exceptions to this policy must be requested in writing to the Student Assignment Office and approved by the Board of Education.
