E. E. Smith High School

Welcome to E.E. Smith High School !

Imagine the future and assume that you have graduated from E.E. Smith. Now imagine that you are introducing yourself to others, sharing your background and education. My belief is that when you state that you graduated from E.E. Smith, you will encounter recognition, respect and affection.

You will encounter recognition because our graduates are leaders. It is truly a goal of our school to prepare our young people to be leaders- to engage the world, not just to observe it from afar. E.E. Smith High School offers unique opportunities for students to study as members of our Math and Science Academy, Fire Science Academy, Culinary Arts Program, Automotive Technology Studies, and so much more.

You will encounter respect, because E.E. Smith High School is known, historically, for creating a program that calls for excellence in academics, athletics, and relationships. We believe in a genuinely caring and nurturing community at E.E. Smith, offering a warm environment with a “family first” mindset.

You will encounter affection, because through the experience of this challenging education and formation of friendships, you will create a bond with members of your class as well as fellow E.E. Smith High graduates.

We offer you this kind of education because we want you to flourish. And yet we also want more. We want our students to become men and women of good character. We see our students as agents of positive enlightenment for future endeavors.

This is an exciting era for the entire E.E. Smith High School community. We are changing lives one student at a time. We recognize the challenges of today. At E.E. Smith, we believe that every student should have a chance at a brighter tomorrow.

E.E. Smith is home.
