Immunizations are the most important tools in the struggle against infectious disease. It is up to every health care provider and parent to make sure that all children receive the recommended shots in a timely manner.  The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) considers vaccination to be one of the 10 greatest public health achievements of the 20th century.
