Paulette Wilmot,
a fifth grade teacher at E. E. Miller
Elementary, was recently awarded a Cumberland County Education Foundation (CCEF) grant
to help fund supplies needed for the Science Olympiad.
Building science knowledge at the elementary level is
important for helping young minds choose future science courses as well as
opening new career choices. Through hands-on and problem-solving activities,
Science Olympiad develops important lifelong science literacy skills.
