Recently Lucile Souders Elementary School of Math and Science
held a Dime Time Challenge. They raised $1,943.40 in dimes as a fundraiser and
to teach philanthropy and promote student giving. They partnered with E. E.
Smith Academic Excellence Giving Circle of the Cumberland Community Foundation.
The organization agreed to match the first 2,000 dimes ($200.00) with a
$2,000.00 donation.
The E. E. Smith Academic Excellence Giving Circle is a

provide philanthropic support to improve math and science programs for these
schools.
